David Korzeniowski, 62, was arrested last week at his Homestead Drive home after he was allegedly busted by police while in possession of child porn. He was charged with two felony counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Korzeniowski as a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He was convicted of similar charges in 2005 and sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation.

Korzeniowski was arraigned in Central Islip on Saturday and is currently being held in lieu of $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, April 18.

The investigation into Korzeniowski is ongoing, and anyone with information has been asked to contact police investigators by calling (631) 852-6279 or the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
